Title: Red Kiku (Chrysanthemum) Kanzashi Pair
Date: May 2007
Medium: Red Polyester, Styrafoam Ball, Gold Bead Caps, Faux Pearls, Metal Clips, and a helluva lotta Hot Glue.
The original pair that I made for my boyfriend's sister back in May that I couldn't give to her at the time because a piece broke off
So, now they've been fixed and good to go. This was before I started using better hot glue (did you know that they make STRINGLESS hot glue? 
) so you can see a bit of it on some of the petals. All and all, my first experience with the styrafoam balls wasn't too bad 
Total Time: Around 2 hours, give or take (keep in mind this is including the 1 hour-ish that it takes to grid out the squares and then cut them out)
